How do I create an account?
Download ShoutSouthend from the App Store and tap "Sign Up". You'll need to provide a valid email address, create a password, and complete your profile to get started.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Privacy & Safety > Delete Account. Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including photos and connections, will be permanently removed.
How do I report a user or content?
Tap the three dots (...) on any profile or content, then select "Report". Choose the reason for your report and provide any additional details. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
Why can't I see other users on the map?
The live map shows users who have chosen to "Go Live" and share their location. Make sure location services are enabled for ShoutSouthend in your device settings, and check that you're within the Southend coverage area.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Your location is only shared when you explicitly choose to "Go Live", and you can stop sharing at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we protect your data.
The app is crashing or not working properly
Try these steps: 1) Force close and reopen the app, 2) Check for app updates in the App Store, 3) Restart your device, 4) Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, contact our support team with details about the problem.
